Badger Springs Middle School is a public middle school located in Moreno Valley, California. It lies within the Moreno Valley Unified School District. Badger Springs Middle School currently enrolls around 1549 students in grades 6-8.

School Curriculum

Badger Springs offers several programs designed to assist its predominantly Latino population (as of 2008 it was 70%) including AVID and MESA. Badger Springs has 54 fully credentialed teachers on staff with an average experience of 9 years.

Badger Springs currently offers Language Arts, Science, Mathematics (including Algebra 1), Social Studies, and Physical Education to all of its students. Both Social Studies and Science underwent recent new textbook adoptions, with Mathematics adopting new textbooks in the 2011-2012 school year, and Language Arts adopting new textbooks in the 2010-2011 school year.

At the end of the 2010-2011 school year, Vice Principal Pedro Gutierrez requested and received a transfer to become Vice-Principal of another middle school with in the district. His reasons for the request were not made public, but the descision to make the transfer were entirely his own.

At the end of the 2010-2011 school year, Principal Rose Ann Gassr also left the school. She is now a Principal of a charter middle school outside of the Moreno Valley Unified School District. As with Vice Principal Gutierrez, Principal Gasser's reasons were not made public and the descision to leave was entirely her own. Also Mr. Barney came for a new job as a Principal.
